Lemme tell you……

You are loved! Now, go in the mirror and say it to yourself! And I wanna hear you say it will strong belief! It’s so imperative that humans learn that our words and thoughts are important and impressionable to the universe. The universe listens and gives you what you say you deserve. If you have low self esteem, ask yourself why you look down on yourself. There has to be a reason. I look at it this way: you are given one body this lifetime, make it last! Adore yourself because no one else will respect you until they see that you present yourself respectfully. Putting yourself first allows you to be the best version of you no matter what. Point blank period!

You don’t need anything to love yourself. You don’t need money. You don’t need fake friends. You don’t need designer clothes. You don’t need “yes men”. You don’t need followers or likes. You don’t need to pretend to be someone you are not! Just being you is enough. People may act like they like a certain personality or “type” but deep down genuine humans only want someone that they can relate to. Be real. Be honest. Be loyal. Have integrity. Stay true to your morals and values no matter how society or your family thinks you should be. You will never truly blossom until you explore what makes your heart pump and brain electrify. Once you take control of your freedom within your soul, the possibilities and opportunities are endless. Don’t take my word for it. Take a risk and try it!

Keep your head up!

Unfortunately the society we live in is designed to drive us to the brink of insanity. The elite have learned the SECRET and are using it against human beings. The things that we desired as a child, we learn as adults were mere pieces of an imaginary reality that we fragmented together in our subconscious. We dream or have dreamt about it and yearned for it in our waking life. We may have let it take us into temptation or the depth of a darkness we never thought we would explore. Life as we knew it, was as we perceived it. Until you WAKE up!

Once I took my spiritual journey, I learned that good things take time. I learned that every experience I had, happened for a reason. I learned to take a lesson from the negative instead of reacting to it. Every person is going to do things at their own pace and in their own time. I just feel that I owe it to humanity to let other humans know that I am with you whether or not I know you. Also, stay positive especially when it seems that nothing is going your way. That’s when you really learn your own strength and you may surprise yourself 💫

Pending: Patience!

Patience is one of those things either you get it or you don’t. There is absolutely no in between. The key to containing patience is literally understanding that some things take time and some things you can’t piece together in your mind because it wasn’t made for you. Plain and simple. But common sense isn’t always so common. Don’t try wrack your brain trying to figure out what someone did something to you or didn’t consider your feelings. Some humans actually lack the ability or are too lazy to do so. Just go about your business and know that life will be just fine.

It’s what “taking each day at a time” represents. You can’t expect change to happen overnight so just start one day at a time. Humans learn by habit and routine. When you overstand that aspect of life, you will learn that just introducing one new thing in your life and planning on sticking with it will eventually make it apart of your everyday life. You can only blame yourself if you sit around, procrastinating just letting time go by. Remember that mental health and physical health are connected so if your mind isn’t right then your body won’t be either. And you can’t be good to anyone including yourself if neither are good with you!

My POV on the Podcast: Shoot Da Ishh (Youtube)

Check out Shoot Da Ishh on YouTube! Link 👇🏾 https://youtu.be/DUIM4LXuC50

It’s funny because I literally been thinking for a couple years that I need to start a podcast. I posted a poll on my Instagram (@ericakanebitch) story asking “is the world ready to be enlightened”. 90% of people answered yes and I know why the 10% said no. They probably felt the information wouldn’t be readily received but I figured if 90% were willing then I could AT LEAST plant the seed. Then, I got a message from my cohost (whom I never met before) but he had viewed my reels and liked my energy. He already had started this podcast Shoot Da Ishh but his audience was yearning for a female to join in on topics with him. He knew I would be a perfect fit so we decided to meet up to make sure the chemistry would be genuine onscreen and it was history from there!

Check out our episode on Swingers and the Lifestyle with our first guest together!

I feel that my point of view on Shoot Da Ishh just provides a different variant in our world of problems. I don’t speak for all women nor do I speak for all women of color but I have a voice for those (anybody!) who agrees with me and wishes that someone would say it aloud. That’s what I’m here for! I want people to know that you can be yourself and still be content with your life. You can improve on areas in your life that you have always wanted to work on but didn’t know how to approach. Just check us out and you will SEE for yourself! FYI we film weekly so look for new videos every Wednesday or Thursday!

Check us out now!!!

Get out of there. Now!

I don’t know who needs to hear this but stop being stuck in your comfort zone. Expanding your zone will accommodate your strengths in no way you can imagine. Staying stuck in your ways will just keep you in that toxic and destructive cycle that you want to break out from! Get away from those who don’t support you. Get away from those who don’t keep the same energy as you. Get away from insecure, non goal-driven, energy sucking vampires. They survive on taking your positive energy as their own and manipulating it into something can be catastrophic.

Life is supposed to be filled with ups and downs, I totally understand. Cancel out some of those downs by being with others who motivate you to do better in life! Get exposed to new people by doing things you enjoy whether it’s work or a hobby. Those that are better aligned with your energy will brighten the light within you. It’s honestly amazing what you can achieve when you are around different, new and exciting peoples, places or things. If you would rather do something simple, just be kind. It seems like a given but many people are lacking that trait and it doesn’t take much. Another good one is patience. Things aren’t always as it seems and it’s easier to get angry with who is delivering a message or a command. Patience is key because it allows you to thoroughly process a situation before things can take a wrong turn. Don’t be that person who goes viral for being a Karen. I’m not perfect either but I try to remain conscious of myself and my surroundings. The world is our playground to explore and meet others who love life as well. It’s all about connecting with the universe. Period.

Overstanding this Game😈

To me, life is a game. A game that if well played, you can truly be successful. Of course, you will fail at times ( no one is perfect ) but you can’t go wrong at least trying. Just keep in the back of your mind, the worst that can happen is you can fail. Once you overstand the things you can not control, life will be a much smoother ride for you. Know that some people are placed in your life to test your worth, integrity and morals or views on humanity.

It’s really all about how much belief and faith you carry within yourself. Know that nothing can break you, unless you let it. It’s like this book I once read “No one can drive you crazy if you don’t give them the steering wheel.” That quote was so powerful to me because it’s easy to react to how people treat you. What people have to overstand is that it’s not about reacting but responding. Look I’m obviously no expert at this game of life but one thing that I do know is having control over yourself is the only concern that should be on your mind. Once you learn that, the road ahead won’t appear as bumpy.

Life or Death……

I’m going to caution my readers that this blog is very deep and may sadden some, but my purpose is to educate anyone who is willing to listen. So, recently my cousin committed suicide. When I heard the news, my thoughts were running wild and my emotions were at a standstill. I realized how distant I was with some of my family, not by choice, because of the paths that our lives were taking us. It opened my eyes to reach out to my family whenever I could just to keep the connection open. I’m not saying I could’ve prevented it but it lets me know some of us are suffering in silence. For some background, I have a huge family, no exaggeration. My grandfather had 16 siblings and they averaged 5 children each in which their children had at least 3 so you can only imagine the numbers. With a family so big, this tragedy was heightened even more. So many people spoke to him the day before. It’s baffling but our society doesn’t welcome men expressing their feelings especially men of color. They are raised to protect and give the family strength. Universe only knows what was burdening him but it was enough for him to throw in the towel. I, myself had a similar experience but I was blessed to be given another chance at life. But given my family’s current situation it makes me wonder how many people I really affected just be attempting. The mere thought of my physical body being gone sent people in my life through a whirlwind. I had to apologize to them because I was being selfish and it wasn’t fair to them. Honestly, my father saved my life.

I have always believed that we are closer to the spiritual realm than we are told but you wouldn’t know until you experienced something that placed you on the border of life and death. Patience is something that I learned in my journey as well. Loving everyone and everything for what or who they are without sacrificing how it affects your own self esteem/worth. Life is about over standing what’s real and what appears to be. No matter your age, life will continue giving you lessons. All you can do is learn from them and hopefully be able to expand your comfort zone because the world is all of ours; we just have to hone on its beauty.

Healthy Eating Journey 🥗🍜🍱

Salmon, olives, kale & balsamic vinegar 😊

I have been in an on and off relationship with healthy foods. Lol it’s not an easy journey. In 2016, I was vegan until I had to move in with my grandmother, due to her suffering some injuries and my personal reasons. My grandmother is a soul food queen so it was very hard and super tempting to stay on the healthy trail. But recently, I have decided to get back on it. I have my occasional cheat meals but for the most part I’m realizing that eating healthy is bigger than me. I am a role model for my child and I want both of us to have long prosperous lives! Eating right is one of the ways to do it.

Salmon, raspberries, kale & balsamic vinegar

As you can see one of my favorite meals include salmon, kale, balsamic vinegar and a special guest. 😂 I’m going to get more versatile and see if I’m good at making vegan pizza again. I used to make it when I started my journey and I loved it! Variety is definitely needed when eating healthy so you don’t get bored or fall back into old habits. Gotta stay strong because we are all in this together!

Lamb chops, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, escarole, balsamic vinegar

Chillin in Motherhood💓

Hey guys, I have been appointed a higher position in my life on June 24, 2021, mother. Since I was a teenager, I fantasized about having a baby. I used to even be the designated babysitter for my family going back to when I was 13. I imagined what he or she would look like. I thought about I would dress them up for on different celebrations and if I would match with them or not. In my mind, I just had the idea that my child would be like my babydoll or my little accessory. But once, I actually gave birth it was nothing like I could’ve possibly fathomed. Love has a whole new meaning in my life now. I overstand why my parents were protective, supportive and very tolerant. I saw the joy in my families faces when they saw my young’n and how much my child meant to them. It’s an incredible feeling to have made something that your loved ones absolutely adore! I’m learning more and more everyday; my child opened my eyes to see the superhuman that was inside me all along. Every minute I spend with my baby is a minute well spent ❤️
