The journey of life is quite exciting…No matter where I turn or who I talk to, I have learned that nothing comes easy. And anything that comes easy comes with a price tag. Like Kali Uchis said in her song ‘After the Storm’ with Tyler the Creator, “Nothing good ever comes easy. I know times are rough. But winners don’t quit so don’t you give up!” Honestly, the entire song is a mantra for positivity, but this part in particular resonates with me. It’s also very accurate. Only true grinders and hustlers understand this. Basically keep pushing through because your hard work and dedication isn’t going unnoticed by the universe and you will reap the benefits, just stay patient and tolerate.
I have hit many bumps and potholes traveling this lonesome journey, but I have been meeting some amazing people along my way. The things that have been brewing in my dream factory are slowly being transferred to reality. I used to always speak on my next moves and wondered why they never fell through, but then I realize it’s because actions speak louder than words. Once I started DOING instead of TALKING, the attraction flocked to me like never before. One true power we all have is the power to succeed, but along our route we cannot be a GPS to others; otherwise it allows them to help blockade or slow down our path to greatness. All I’m saying is keep certain things to yourself. Some people are just nosy or want to include themselves in your plans and that’s not the goal. Everyone has their own path. Some paths intersect but you should always have your own personal map that you follow. I honestly feel sorry for those who don’t understand their purpose. Don’t lose focus, otherwise you will lose yourself.
